Good practices

Educaiton is a non-profit foundation with statutory audit founded by David Umaña and family identified with NIT 901383711-1.

The purpose of the foundation is to:

FACILITATE ACCESS TO VIRTUAL EDUCATION (ON-LINE) FOR CHILDREN, GIRLS, ADOLESCENTS, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS WHO ARE IN POVERTY, EXCLUSION, FORGIVENESS OR NEGLIGENCE FOR WHICH THEY HAVE NO ACCESS TO A GOOD EDUCATION.

THE FOUNDATION WILL DONATE TECHNOLOGICAL HARDWARE (COMPUTERS, TABLETS, CELL PHONES, ROUTERS, SIM cards AND SIMILAR) WITH TECHNOLOGICAL SOFTWARE (EDUCATIONAL PLATFORMS AND APPLICATIONS,, MONITORING PLATFORMS AND APPLICATIONS). TO DELIVER TO ITS BENEFICIARIES A QUALITY ACCESS SYSTEM TO EDUCATION CONTENT RELEVANT TO THEIR AGE AND ROLE IN SOCIETY.

Donation of cell phones, tablets and computers:
Educaiton donates computer equipment to children and young people, through their parents or guardians, once they have demonstrated that they need them and cannot afford them.

Educaiton signs a donation letter with the minor's parent or guardian, as well as a non-responsibility agreement on the device once donated.

This agreement also allows Educaiton to monitor the content that is installed and displayed on the computer equipment to ensure that said equipment is used for educational purposes.

Donation of SIM cards and WiFi connection:

Educaiton donates to children and young people, through their parents or guardians, and adults, elements that allow 3G, 4G or WiFi connectivity depending on the case once they have shown that they need them and that they cannot afford them.

The maintenance of these elements by Educaiton is subject to their use being for educational purposes, whether school or professional, for which Educaiton monitors, with applications designed for this purpose, the content used by the beneficiaries.
